Croatian national team player Luka Sučić made a great contribution to Real Sociedad’s passage to the round of 16 of the Europa League.
After winning the first game (2:1), Real Sociedad celebrated in the second leg of the Europa League round of 16 against Midtjylland 5:2. Luka Sučić scored his team’s second and third goals in the 18th minute and in stoppage time of the first half.
He had to be replaced at the beginning of the second half due to an injury, and in the round of 16, Real Sociedad will face Manchester United or Tottenham.
Josip Šutal’s Ajax also made it to the round of 16, despite losing to Union St. Franja Ivanović’s Gillois (1:2), as well as Fenerbahce’s Dominik Livaković, who did not play due to injury.
