The Czechs’ first goal was scored by Stašková in the 15th minute, and three minutes later Khýrová made it 2:0, taking advantage of a mistake by the Croatian defense. Krejčiříková scored the 3:0 goal in the 29th minute, while after the break in the 63rd minute, Svitková hit the net. Ivana Rudelić had Croatia’s best chance in the 78th minute, but the ball went wide.
The next match on the schedule is against Ukraine on February 25, and it will be played in Elbasan, Albania.
Croatia plays in group B4 with teams from the Czech Republic, Ukraine, and Albania. The teams from this group will fight for first place, which brings promotion to a higher rank, while the second and third positions will decide further placement and the possibility of fighting for a higher rank through the play-offs.
