The Croatian women’s national team will play a UEFA Nations League game against Albania tomorrow at 4 p.m. in Shkodër.
Coach Nenad Gračan faced numerous lineup changes due to injuries, but despite this, the team is motivated to achieve a positive result and continue the fight in Group B of the League of Nations.
A difficult match awaits us, like everyone in this group. I think the Albanian national team is, on paper, weaker than Ukraine and the Czech Republic; however, it is a national team whose players play abroad. We certainly believe in our girls. We have many changes and injured players, but those who are with us are waiting for their chance. We have a lot of motivation to achieve a positive result and continue the fight in the B group – Nenad Gračan, Croatia Head Coach
National team member Janja Čanjevac thinks similarly, emphasizing the importance of the match and faith in victory:
Tomorrow, we have a demanding match against the Albanian national team. We hope for the best outcome, and we came here with three points, and I hope that everything will lead to that. The atmosphere is great. Of course, some players are missing, but this is an opportunity for new and younger girls to show themselves and fulfill their promise – Janja Čanjevac, Croatia player
The Croatian women’s national team enters tomorrow’s match with optimism. They aim to win new points and continue the competition in the League of Nations.
