On Friday, September 5, 2025, the new season of the Paket24 Premier Handball League in Croatia kicks off. The opening match features RK Zagreb against MRK Trogir at the Trešnjevka Sports Hall, starting at 6:00 PM. Admission is free for all handball fans.

This will be RK Zagreb’s first official match of the 2025/2026 season, and the game against Trogir will also serve as excellent preparation for their upcoming Machineseker EHF Champions League debut next week.

Zagreb’s coach, Andrija Nikolić, emphasized the importance of this match as a dress rehearsal for the Champions League campaign, stating that the team does not underestimate their opponent and aims to start the domestic league with a victory.

Pivot Roko Trivković expressed his expectations that the match against his former club Trogir will be a good test and a proper introduction to the challenges ahead. He also highlighted that the team has shown progress throughout the summer preparations, improving from game to game.
