In the final of the Intercontinental Cup, Real Madrid defeated Pachuca 3:0, with which Luka Modrić put a new trophy in his rich display case.
Spain’s Real Madrid, the European champion, and Mexico’s Pachuca, the North American champion, decided who would win the Intercontinental Cup in Doha. The title went to Vatreni’s captain, Luka Modrić, and his teammates.
Mbappe scored the final 3:0 goal at the end of the first half, Rodrygo at the beginning of the second half, and Vini Jr. from the spot in the 84th minute. Modrić entered the game in the 70th minute instead of Rodrygo.
Modrić has won five previous Club World Cups with Real Madrid. With this trophy,, he has wons with the Royal Club, thus furthereasing his lead on the club’s all-time list.
