The captain of the Croatian football team, Luka Modrić, was among the top scorers in the King’s Cup round of 16 games.
Just three days after leading Real Madrid to victory against Valencia in La Liga with a goal, with one less player, and thus becoming the oldest scorer in the Royal Club’s history, Luka Modrić also shook the net of Deportivo Miner in the King’s Cup.
Real Madrid won 5:0 and secured a place in the round of 16, and the Vatreni captain scored his team’s fourth goal in the 55th minute of the match with a well-measured shot. Modrić played until the 63rd minute.
