Perišić scored the first goal in the 15th minute, the second in the 40th after a corner, and the third for the final 4:1 in the 73rd minute, thereby confirming his team’s victory. He played until the 76th minute. In total, this season for PSV, he scored 14 goals and recorded 10 assists in all competitions, and in the Dutch championship, he has seven goals and eight assists in 24 appearances.
With this performance, Perišić became the second-oldest player to score in three consecutive appearances in the Eredivisie. With this victory, PSV moved closer to the leader Ajax, who was four points behind, three rounds before the end of the championship.
