Croatian national team member Ivan Perišić scored the leading goal for PSV Eindhoven in a great victory against Juventus for a place in the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
After the defeat (1:2) in the first game, PSV welcomed Juventus in the return of the playoffs with Ivan Perišić in the starting line-up. The playful Vatreni attacker shook the net to take the lead in the 53rd minute of the game.
Soon, Weah equalized, and in the 74th minute, Perišić started a new dangerous action and sent the ball into the middle, where Saibari eventually scored for 2:1 and extra time. Perišić was replaced in the 85th minute, and Flamingo gave PSV the overall victory in the 98th minute.
The big duel between Real Madrid and Manchester City once again belonged to the Spanish representative (3:1), and Joško Guardiol played the entire duel. Mateo Kovačić played from the 77th minute, and Luka Modrić came on six minutes later.
After winning the first game (3:0), Borussia Dortmund, under Niko Kovač’s leadership, preserved the acquired advantage by playing in the return match against Sporting from Lisbon with a 0:0 draw.
On Tuesday, Josip Stanišić with Bayern, who eliminated Celtic (2:1, 1:1), while Luka Ivanušec with Feyenoord eliminated the Milan team (1:0, 1:1). Mario Pašalić‘s Atalanta was stopped by Club Brugge with two wins.
