Young national team member Franjo Ivanović was his team’s hero again, this time in the domestic championship.
Having scored both goals for Union St. Gilloise in the Europa League to win against Nice, Franjo Ivanović scored all three in the home triumph against Westerlo.
He scored in the 40th and 45th minutes and then in the 53rd minute to make it 3:0, so the guests soon mitigated the loss. Ivanovic played until the 70th minute, and Luka Vušković and Matija Frigan played from the beginning to the end of the duel in the ranks of Westerlo.
