CROATIA WOMEN’S HANDBALL SUFFERS 24:35 DEFEAT TO DENMARK

Croatia’s senior women’s handball team suffered a second straight defeat at the 2025 World Championship, falling 24:35 to Denmark in Group A at Rotterdam.

Croatia led briefly early on thanks to Lucija Bešen’s saves, tying 5:5 at the 13th minute before Denmark’s 4-0 surge built a halftime lead of 16:10. Croatia faces Japan on Monday at 18:00 for main round hopes—the loser drops to President’s Cup.
