FINE-TUNING IN PRELOG: MAVROVIĆ NAMES THE SQUAD FOR THE FINAL EURO PREPARATIONS

Croatia futsal head coach Marinko Mavrović has announced the list of players called up for the final training camp ahead of the UEFA Futsal EURO, which begins in late January and will be staged across Latvia, Lithuania, and Slovenia. Croatia will complete its last preparation block in Prelog (January 11–18) before travelling to Riga, where it will play its group matches.

Ante Piplica, Nikola Gudasić (Futsal Dinamo), Duje Kustura, Vinko Rozga, Romeo Sušac, David Barbarić (Olmissum), Niko Vukmir (O Parrulo Ferrol), Luka Perić (Bubamara Cazin), Marko Kuraja (Square), Kristian Čekol, Patrik Pasariček (Futsal Dinamo), Antonio Sekulić (Osijek Kandit), Franco Jelovčić, Jakov Hrstić (Torcida Biberon), Josip Jurlina (Sporting Sala Consilina), David Mataja (Constract Lubawa), Vitor Hugo De Lima Da Silva (Novo Vrijeme), Nikola Čižmić (Hajduk).

Mavrović emphasized the importance of everyone arriving in top condition and noted that the national team has been meeting regularly since September, with a series of demanding tests along the way—friendlies against Portugal, Slovenia, and Montenegro, as well as matches against Colombia and Paraguay at the tournament in Metz. He views that run as strong preparation, while noting there is always room to sharpen key details during the Prelog camp.

Mavrović will announce the final roster of 14 players, plus one additional goalkeeper as a reserve, by January 19, which is also UEFA’s registration deadline.

The announcement also mentions that David Mataja has joined Polish top-flight club KS Constract Lubawa, and will link up with the national team in Prelog from there.
