Luka Ivanušec has signed for Greek club PAOK on a one-year loan from Feyenoord. PAOK will have the option to buy him for €5 million at the end of the loan.
PAOK will cover Ivanušec’s full salary during his stay in Greece. Ivanušec completed his medical and has already been registered with the team.
He began his career at Lokomotiva Zagreb, then moved to Dinamo Zagreb, where he won multiple trophies and played a crucial role. In 2023, he transferred to Feyenoord for €7.8 million, playing 55 matches and scoring four goals, and winning the Dutch Cup and Super Cup. However, he has struggled to secure playing time recently.
Ivanušec is a Croatian international with 22 caps for the national team. He took part in UEFA Euro 2020 and can play in several attacking positions.
At PAOK, he will join fellow Croatian Dejan Lovren and is expected to bring quality and experience to the team. The club has admired him for years, and they see this as a good opportunity for both Ivanušec and PAOK as they aim for titles in their centenary season.
Ivanušec has expressed his excitement about the move and hopes to have a substantial impact in Greece.
