Croatian women’s basketball clubs Ragusa from Dubrovnik and Trešnjevka 2009 from Zagreb are preparing to compete in the upcoming 2025/2026 FIBA EuroCup Women season.
Ragusa has been placed in Group H, where they will face several strong European teams. Their opponents in the group will be French club BLMA, Czech team Tany Brno, and the winner of the qualifying match between Italian Dinamo Sassari and Greek Panathlitikos. A competitive battle is expected as Ragusa, representing Croatia, aims to achieve its first victories in European competitions.
On the other hand, Trešnjevka, the 2009 Croatian vice-champion and a debutant in European competitions, will compete in Group A. In their group are Belgium’s Castors Braine, Italy’s Magnolia Basket Campobasso, and the loser of the qualifying duel for the EuroLeague between Spain’s Casademont Zaragoza and the Czech team Zabiny Brno. Both Croatian teams have qualified directly for the group stage of the EuroCup Women thanks to their results in domestic leagues and their positions on the European ranking list.
