Young Croatian international Luka Vušković (18) scored one of the season’s best goals in the regional Bundesliga derby, while Martin Erlić notched his first league goal for Midtjylland.
HSV defeated Werder Bremen 3:2 in the northern derby, with Vušković playing the whole match and in the 75th minute at 1:1, incredibly volleying the ball with his heel into the top left corner for 2:1. This marks his second goal in 11 appearances this season (total two goals, 128 duels won), dedicated to his brother Mario. Werder equalized, but Yussuf Poulsen sealed the win in the 84th minute.
Martin Erlić scored Midtjylland’s second goal in a 3:3 draw at Viborg, heading in from a corner in the 69th minute before being substituted by Han-Beom. This is his first goal in the Danish Superliga (1 goal in 7 appearances), following his previous strike in the Europa League against Celtic.
Vušković’s acrobatic masterpiece evokes Ibrahimović, while Erlić displays offensive threat from defense – both Vatreni continue shining in Europe.
