Croatian midfielder Milan Badelj led his Genoa to an away league win at Empoli.
With the captain’s armband around his arm, Milan Badelj played one of the key roles in the duel of the 18th round of the Italian football championship between Empoli and Genoa, along with excellent grades.
At the beginning of the second half, he scored the leading goal, his first this season in Serie A. Then Ekuban increased the score to 2:0, and Esposito finally eased the home team’s defeat (2:1).
Badelj was replaced in the middle of the game, and Genoa holds 13th place with 19 points.
