MATANOVIĆ SCORES TWICE ON DEBUT, KRAMARIĆ AND MAJER ALSO ON TARGET

Croatian forwards lit up European pitches last weekend with standout performances and goals.

Matanović opened a new chapter in his career in perfect fashion. On his debut, he scored twice within the match, immediately winning over the fans and earning the coach’s trust. His striker’s instinct and composure in front of goal defined the team’s victory and earned him the man of the match award.

Andrej Kramarić continues his prolific form – converting a penalty to once again confirm his status as Hoffenheim’s key player.

Lovro Majer also found the back of the net, once more displaying his trademark technique and spatial awareness. The Croatian midfielder brought security and dynamism to his team, and his goal further highlighted the quality of Croatian players competing in Europe’s top leagues.

In the same round, three Croatian internationals scored a combined total of four goals, which domestic and international media have hailed as one of the best recent collective performances by Croatian strikers and midfielders in Europe. Their efficiency is a source of optimism for the national team coach ahead of upcoming international challenges.
