On Tuesday, April 8, at 4:00 p.m. in SRC Rudeš, the Croatian women’s national football team will play a return match against Albania as part of the UEFA Nations League.
After the defeat in the first match, coach Nenad Gračan announces maximum struggle and faith in a positive result in front of the home audience after the defeat in Albania.
“I’m sure I’m not happy about losing, especially in this way. As for the game itself, it didn’t seem to make that much of a difference, but as for the team itself, we don’t have too much of a choice considering that we lack a lot of standard players. As for tomorrow’s game, we need to prepare psychologically. It must have left its mark on the girls, but I believe we can achieve a positive result and show that we are worth more,” said Gračan.

The match against Albania will also be a unique opportunity for Kristina Nevrkla, who will celebrate her jubilee and her hundredth appearance for the Croatian national team in front of her home fans.
It is essential for us that the players celebrate those anniversaries. Considering her experience in our football and national team, she certainly deserves that celebration. I believe that we will achieve victory and in some way to thank her – added Gračan
