GNK Dinamo Zagreb has learned its group stage opponents for the UEFA Europa League 2025/26 following the official draw held at UEFA headquarters.
The Croatian champions will play four home matches at Maksimir Stadium against strong opponents, including two Spanish teams, Real Betis and Celta Vigo, Turkish giants Fenerbahçe, and Romanian side FCSB.
On the road, Dinamo will face French club LOSC Lille, Israeli team Maccabi Tel Aviv, Danish side Midtjylland, and Swedish champions Malmö.
The group matches will begin on September 24 and 25, 2025, with subsequent rounds scheduled throughout the season until January 2026. Kick-off times will vary between 16:30, 18:45, and 21:00 CET.
This season’s Europa League features a new league format where, after eight group rounds, the top eight teams move directly to the round of 16. Teams finishing 9th to 24th will compete in play-off ties for the remaining spots in the knockout phase. The play-offs are set for February 19 and 26, 2026, with the round of 16 planned for March 12 and 19.
The quarter-finals are scheduled for April 9 and 16, and the semi-finals on April 30 and May 7, culminating in the final on May 20, 2026, at the stadium of Turkish club Beşiktaş in Istanbul.
Dinamo Zagreb faces a challenging group with highly competitive clubs, but will be buoyed by strong home support and a rich European footballing culture.
