The draw for the SuperSport Croatian Football Cup quarterfinals took place at the Croatian Football Federation headquarters, led by committee president Željko Mihalj alongside members Josip Brezno and Željko Bela.
Quarterfinal matches will be played on March 3 and 4, 2026, on the home grounds of the first-mentioned clubs:
- Zagreb: Dinamo – Kurilovec
- Rijeka: Rijeka – Hajduk
- Koprivnica: Slaven Belupo – Lokomotiva
- Varaždin: Varaždin – Gorica
Dinamo drew the most favorable opponent in fourth-division Kurilovec, who surprised in earlier rounds but lost recent clashes against Dinamo. Rijeka – Hajduk is the season’s biggest derby, recalling the historic 2022 cup final where Hajduk won 3:1 after a comeback. Slaven Belupo and Lokomotiva, both HNL sides, recently shared points 1:1, promising a tense encounter. Varaždin – Gorica pits two ambitious second-division teams reuniting after last year’s penalty shootout.
Quarterfinals bring derby fireworks and upset potential – Rijeka-Hajduk draws record crowds, while Kurilovec dreams of a sensation. Follow Copone Media for exclusive sports photography and stadium reports!
