At UEFA Futsal EURO 2026, the Croatia national futsal team booked a place in the semi-finals by beating the Armenia national futsal team 3–0 in the quarter-final in Kaunas (Zalgiris Arena).
Croatia did the damage early, scoring all three goals in the first half:
- 1–0 (3’): David Mataja
- 2–0 (7’): Dario Vukmir
- 3–0 (16’): David Mataja (again)
According to Croatian Football Federation, Croatia then protected the lead in the second half, with goalkeeper Ante Piplica highlighted for his performance, and the team celebrated a repeat of their 2012 run to the last four.
Croatia will face the winner of Spain national futsal team vs Italy national futsal team in the semi-final on 4 February at Arena Stožice in Ljubljana.
