The Croatian Football Association’s executive board has decided that the June match between Croatia and the Czech Republic will be at Osijek’s Opus Arena.
Upon completion of the Nations League, the Croatian national football team will begin qualifying for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Canada, the USA, and Mexico in June 2026. The team will open the competition with a visit to Gibraltar on June 6 this year (Algarve Stadium, Faro, Portugal).
Three days later, on June 9, starting at 8:45 p.m., Vatreni will host the Czech Republic. As the Croatian Football Association Executive Board decided, that match will be played at the Opus Arena stadium in Osijek.
In qualifying Group L, along with Croatia and the Czech Republic, Gibraltar, the Faroe Islands, and Montenegro are also included.
