Croatia met Bosnia and Herzegovina in its final appearance at the qualifying tournament for the European Under-19 Championship.
The national selection of Turkey ensured placement to the European Championship in Omiš. Turkey beat Azerbaijan 3:1 in the third round, and with seven points won, first place in the qualifying Group 7 became unattainable.
Croatia thus played a match for prestige with Bosnia and Herzegovina. They took the lead with an early goal by Arnaut, and Mujanović secured the first equalizer for the rival team shortly before going on vacation.
In the continuation, Kulić brought a new advantage to Croatia, and the final 2:2 was written on the scoreboard by Marković five minutes before the end of the game. Duja Maretić’s team finished the competition in third place with three points.
