ANTEA JERKOVIĆ NAMED TO ALL-STAR TEAM AT WOMEN’S 17 EHF EURO 2025

Antea Jerković, the outstanding center back of the Croatian women’s youth handball team, has been named to the All-Star Team of the 17th EHF European Championship held in Podgorica. Her selection by a jury composed of officials from the European Handball Federation and coaches is a testament to her exceptional performance throughout the tournament.

Jerković played a crucial role in leading Croatia to the European silver medal, demonstrating remarkable leadership and scoring ability. Over the course of eight matches, she scored an impressive 54 goals, making her Croatia’s top scorer. She finished tied for the sixth-best scorer overall at the championship, highlighting her offensive prowess on the continental stage.

The All-Star Team features the best players in each position from the tournament, and alongside Jerković, there are prominent players like goalkeeper Maša Dubljević (Montenegro), pivot Sofie Matilde Taylor (Denmark), and MVP Martina Knežević (Montenegro).

This recognition further solidifies Antea Jerković’s status as one of Europe’s brightest young talents in handball and highlights the strength of Croatian youth handball development.
