In the third-place match at UEFA Futsal EURO 2026, Hrvatska defeated Francuska in Arena Stožice (Ljubljana) after a penalty shootout, winning 6–5 following a 5–5 draw in regular time.
France struck first through Menendez (4’), but Croatia turned it around with goals from Antonio Sekulić (14’) and Tino Jurlina (19’) to lead 2–1 at the break. Early in the second half, captain Franco Jelovčić made it 3–1, yet the match kept swinging: Guirio completed a hat-trick as France clawed back, and Mouhoudine levelled to 5–5 with just seven seconds remaining.
In the shootout, Croatia converted all six of their kicks, while Toure missed for France—sealing a historic bronze medal for Croatia.
