Croatian futsal national team player Josip Jurlina (2000) has left Napoli Futsal after just five months and signed with top-tier club Sporting Sala Consilina.
Jurlina is a long-time key player for Olmissum, with four appearances in the UEFA Futsal Champions League, participation in the 2022 European Championship and last year’s World Cup, and a silver medal at the 2019 U19 European Championship. Sala Consilina, currently in the attractive 4th position in Serie A with a better points tally than Napoli (who have played fewer matches), paid compensation for the Croatian and expects his contribution to the season’s goals.
I was looking for a clear challenge and continuity – Sala Consilina is the right choice. I found an organized club full of passion for futsal, and I’m ready to give everything for the team – said Jurlina.
He is currently recovering from an injury, expecting to return to training in a week and full readiness in three weeks. This transfer perfectly fits Jurlina’s profile – from Olmissum through Napoli to an ambitious Italian top-flight club. Follow Copone Media for exclusive sports photography and futsal news!
