Ivan Dodig is the new captain of the Croatian Davis Cup tennis team, as officially confirmed by the Croatian Tennis Association on August 11, 2025. He is taking over the role from Velimir Zovko following the decision of the CTA Board. Dodig is still an active professional tennis player and one of the best doubles players in the world, with numerous Grand Slam titles in the doubles category. His debut as captain will be in the match against France, on September 12 and 13 in Osijek.

In its statement, the HTS thanked the outgoing captain Zovko for his dedication and wished Dodig success in his new role. This is a significant change for Croatian tennis, as Dodig comes in as a celebrated player with extensive experience at the highest levels of world tennis.
