Ahead of the start of the new Croatian Football League season, the Croatian Football Federation (CFF) proudly presents the new design of the official SHNL match ball, which will be used in 180 games of the most-watched club competition in Croatia.

Since 2023, all HNL games have been played with the official “Revolution thermobonded” ball manufactured by the sports equipment brand Uhlsport. Ahead of the new season, the official ball features an entirely new design. Among the red-and-white elements, parts with the prominent and recognizable Croatian checkerboard stand out, a pattern through which Croatia is globally recognized as a football powerhouse, having won silver and bronze medals at the last two World Cups.

I believe the entire football public shares the excitement about the start of the new HNL season, especially after such an attractive finish only two months ago. I like the new design of our official ball – together with our partner Uhlsport, we wanted to emphasize further what Croatia is most famous for in design: the red-and-white squares with which we, as a country, have achieved extraordinary sporting successes. I am confident that the players will appreciate the ball’s playing qualities and that the spectators will enjoy many great moves, beautiful goals, and exciting matches.
