IVANOVIĆ SCORER AND ASSISTANT, FRIGAN SCORES ANDERLECHTA, VUŠKOVIĆ EXCELLENT AGAIN
Croatian football players in Belgian clubs again played excellent games this Sunday and celebrated valuable victories.
Gilloise beat Standard Liege 3:0 at home. Croatian striker Franjo Ivanović assisted David for his team’s leading goal in the 20th minute, and ten minutes before the end, he himself scored the third and last goal of the match.
Ivanović played the entire game for the hosts, while Marko Bulat of Ivan Leka’s visiting team remained among the reserves. Boško Šutalo did not compete for the performance due to injury.
Westerlo defeated Anderlecht 2:0 in front of its fans. Matija Frigan scored the first goal in the second minute of the match with a header, and Vatreni youth defender Luka Vušković again received excellent marks for his performance.
Frigan played until the 81st minute, and Vušković played the entire match.
